To this union, two children were born, Tamara Lynn and James Thayne.

Martha supported her family in all their events, children and grandchildren alike.  Going to volleyball, football, basketball, track meets, softball and baseball games, and all of their school and extra-curricular activities.  Many times, you could see her keeping score from the bleachers.

Martha was a part of the Agra Community Foundation that operated the grocery store for many years.  She enjoyed working at the fund-raising events and helping to keep the grocery store viable for the community.  Martha also worked as a cook at the Agra Inn for many years.

Some of the other things that Martha enjoyed were living on the farm, camping and taking trips with family members, making crafts with her friends, having coffee & conversation with friends, painting pictures for family, and all of her pets.  She also enjoyed following the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and the KU Jayhawks.  She especially loved March Madness and hosting a neighborhood bracket competition for many years.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 43 years, Ronald; parents Oliver & Florence; in-laws August and Eva Rose; brother Les; brothers & sisters-in-law Melvin & Onna Lee Rose, Loyd & Joyce Rose, and Lyle & Fronna Rose.
