Obituary
Lifelong Phillips County resident, Mary Ann Hubbard,73, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.
She was born April 10, 1936 in Prairie View, Kansas the daughter of Nicholas & Nina (Capstick) Stutterheim. She graduated from the Prairie View High School.
Mary was united in marriage to Jack Hubbard on July 6, 1957 in the Prairie View Reformed Church in Prairie View.
Mary worked as a Veterinarian Technician at the Crossroads Veterinary Clinic in Phillipsburg for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jay Hubbard on April 27, 1992.
Survivors include her husband, Jack of the home; sons, Mike of Speed and Kurtis of Concordia; her daughter, Patti Potts & husband, Jason, of Kansas City, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Jakob, Nicholas, Dillon & Dallas Hubbard; a brother, Lyle Stutterheim of North Platte, NE; and 2 sisters, Eileen Schemper of Prairie View and Doris Mulder of Logan.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 in the First Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Services, Inc.
