“Too Tall” Michael Dale Hubbard passed away on April 25, 2026, at the Phillips County Hospital. He was born on July 4, 1958, at the Phillips County Hospital to his parents, Jack and Mary (Stutterheim) Hubbard.

Mike graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1977 and then attended Cloud County Community College on a basketball scholarship. He graduated from CCCC in 1979 with an associate's degree. Mike worked as a farm hand and on custom harvest crews. He also worked for AFG and Guardian Glass as production manager. Mike loved roping and riding horses. He rodeoed for 20 years with his great friend Ray Belt. He also loved the lake and water skiing in his younger years.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Hubbard, and his brother Jay Dee Hubbard. He is survived by his significant other, Crystal Collins, and her daughters, Peyton, Haven, and Kaylen; sister, Patti Potts, and husband Jason; brother, Kurtis Hubbard; as well as his niece, Dallas Hubbard; nephews, Jakob, Nicholas, and Dillon Hubbard; and many extended family members. Mike also leaves behind many close friends.
