Obituary

Mike Paul Kramer, son of Wilfred & Virginia (Haddock) Kramer, was born October 7, 1967 in Cozad, Nebraska and passed away July 14, 2018 at his home in Phillipsburg, Kansas at the age of 50.

During his lifetime, Mike never let his disability stop him from enjoying life. In elementary school, he was a wrestler and enjoyed racing motorcycles. He graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, NE then continued his education at Wayne State College, Hastings Community College, and then graduated from Kearney State College with a Bachelor's Degree.

Mike had a long career working full-time for the Kansas Department for Children & Families (formerly SRS), and for about 25 years he drove to Kearney, NE every Saturday to work with his Dad at the gun shop.

In his spare time he loved fishing, hunting, cooking and traveling with his many close friends.

Survivors include his parents, Willie & Virginia Kramer of Kearney, NE; his brothers, Ted & wife, Jodene, of Ogallala, NE and Larry & wife, Tereasa, of Kearney, NE; four nephews: Justin, Dustin, Hunter and Waylon, and one niece, Hannah.

Cremation was planned. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 2nd Street, Phillipsburg, KS 67661, with Pastor Dave Hutson officiating.

Friends may sign the book from noon until 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 17th, at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
