Obituary

Logan resident, Mildred E. "Bonnie" Snyder, passed away April 25, 2011 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, KS at the age of 93. She was born in Phillips County on Feb. 7, 1918 to Edd & Mary (Padgell) Schooler.

Her husband, Forrest, preceded her in death.

Survivors include five sons: Dean of Winona, TX; Glenn (Lucy) of Great Bend, KS; Darrel of Salina, KS; Allan (Teresa) of McPherson, KS; and Dale (Ann) of LaCrosse, KS; six daughters: Leora (Wayne) Horner of Little River, KS; LaVeta Spargo, Mary Walker and Helen Hammack, all of Marquette, KS; Ila (Ellis) Mittan of Benkelman, NE; and Marlene Wymore of Athens, TX; 46 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan, with Rev. Larry Dean Wymore officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home in Logan, with the family receiving friends that evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to Logan Manor.
