Norton resident, Myron D. Bietz, passed away January 2, 2025 at the Salina Regional Medical Center in Salina at the age of 90.  He was born July 12, 1934 in Norton, the son of Arthur F.C. & LaVergne (Schick) Bietz.

Survivors include his wife Sherland; 4 children: Mark Bietz of Delphos, KS, Brenda Aeillo of Spring Hill, KS, Kathy Runnion of Concordia, KS & Laura Klein of Carrollton, VA; 11 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the Logan Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Norton American Legion.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 Friday at the Logan Funeral Home.
