Phillipsburg resident, Nancy Harris-Ott, passed away Friday, July 20 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 72. She was born Sept. 30, 1939 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Paul & Helen (Carlson) Haglund. She was a retired United Methodist Minister.

Survivors include her husband Larry of the home, 2 sons: Michael Harris of Strong City & Jeff Harris of Emporia; 1 stepson, Darrell Ott of Kansas City, KS; 2 stepdaughters; Jodie Ott-Clyde & Brenda Lenker of Phillipsburg; her brother, John Haglund of Strong City, 5 grandchildren & 9 stepgrandchildren.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held Wed. July 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Revs. Harlan & Darlene Nonhof & Pastor Dean Gilbert officiating.

Another memorial service will be held Friday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Saffordville UMC with Jeanine Rishel officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Agra, Kirwin or Saffordville UMC or Hospice services.

Friends may sign the book from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday & from 9:00 to 9:00 Tuesday at the funeral home.
