Lifelong Phillipsburg, Kansas resident, Norma Jean Buchner, died November 21, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 78.

She was born June 27, 1932 in Phillipsburg the daughter of Walter & Ruby (Smith) Harper. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Dean, of the Home; 2 sons, John of Wichita and Gary & wife, Sandra Clark of Phillipsburg; a daughter, Sandra Buchner & husband, Paul Dillon of Seattle, Washington; 2 granddaughters, Clementine Dillon & Victoria Main;
brother, Ray Harper of Concordia; sister, Regie Fruit & husband, Eddie of Gothenburg, Nebraska; & 12 nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Chris Davis officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

Norma will lie in state from Noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and again until service time Friday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
