IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Phillip Jordan
Eller
May 21, 1992 – December 27, 2025
Phillipsburg resident, Phillip Jordan Eller, passed away peacefully asleep in his Phillipsburg home, on Saturday, December 27th, 2025, at the age of 33.
He was born on May 21st, 1992, in Holdrege, Nebraska, to William (Willie) Eller and Starla Conner.
From early on in life, Phillip had a dangerous balance of orneryness and charm. You could never know what he might do, but you always knew he was going to do a pretty good job of convincing you that you were the crazy one after he did it. Like most kids growing up in the 90s, Phil loved video games. Spending hours playing his GameCube or Nintendo 64, and PlayStation if it was one of the many, many weekends he was at his Uncle James'. He also loved watching sports from a very young age, especially his Chiefs, and collected thousands of football cards. As he grew, Phillip followed in his Dad's footsteps of loving loud sound systems. You could often hear his car thumping long before you could ever see it. School was never his strong suite, but Phillip showed everyone it wasn't because he wasn't smart enough, and he was so proud when he got his GED. In spite of the triumphs, Phil began struggling off and on with addiction in his late teens. Bringing a calm to those storms in his life, he met Haley in 2014. During their marriage, they had 4 children that were Phil's world. He would do anything within his power to see them happy and cared for. Obtaining his CDL and working for KDOT was another source of great pride for Phil. He may have hit a sign while going TO the test, but he passed the test with flying colors. Those battles with addiction never quite left him alone for very long, but he was so proud of the almost 2 years clean from drugs and his recent sobriety. Despite his health, severely suffering after his recent heart attack, and numerous other ailments, Phillip was doing his part to get better and fighting that uphill battle.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father William (Willie) Eller, Paternal grandparents Leroy and Helen Eller, and uncle John (Glenn) Eller.
Phillip is survived by his children, Ryker, Jordan, Kynzly, and Xander of Beloit. Maternal grandparents Joy and Lloyd Dick of Kirwin. His parents Starla and Gary Conner, brothers Scott and wife Abbey Eller and Allen Conner and fiancé Lexi, and sisters Tiffani and husband Payton Killion and Natalie Conner. 4 nieces, a nephew, and 2 foster nephews and a nephew soon to be born, all of Phillipsburg. He is also survived by his Uncle James Elson of Claudell, other aunts and uncles, and so many cousins and friends.
