Phillipsburg resident Phylis F. Reeves passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 98.

She was born November 6, 1922 in Smith Center, Kansas the daughter of Vern V. and Nettie F. (Churchill) Albrecht.

She was united in marriage to Dale I. Reeves on November 10, 1944 in Smith Center, KS.  He preceded her in death on April 11, 2011.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters Katie and Nita; and a daughter Barbara Whittaker.

Survivors include her daughter Connie Price of Phillipsburg; a grandson Jerry Whittaker and wife Marjorie of Falls Church, VA; a great grandson Jackson "Jack" Whittaker; a sister Mary Swander of Salina, KS; and nieces and nephews.

Cremation was planned.  A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the United Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Chris Davis officiating. The memorial services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page .  Inurnment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to Chapter BE P.E.O. or the United Presbyterian Church.
