Phillipsburg resident, Rebecca Dianne Kennedy passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the Logan Manor in Logan, KS at the age of 77.

Dianne was born on January 1, 1948 in Phillipsburg, KS the daughter of Elven and Bonnie (Fleming) Rosenberg.

She was united in marriage in 1967 to Richard Morgan.  To this union two sons were born:  Kenny and Kevin. The couple later divorced.  Then in August 29, 1978 she was united in marriage to Dick Kennedy in Oklahoma.  Dick preceded her in death in 2016.

Dianne was also preceded in death by her parents; son Kenny Morgan; grandson Skyler Morgan; brother Dave Rosenberg; and sisters Vonnie Yountz, Sheryl Gillette, and Zona Brackham.

Survivors include her son Kevin Morgan and wife Chantel of Phillipsburg; step-son Wes Kennedy and wife Nikki of Orleans, NE; step-daughter JoAnn Kennedy of Gaylord, KS; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2025 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Darrell Schmid officiating.  Burial will follow in the Agra Cemetery, Agra, KS.

Mrs. Kennedy will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.
