Obituary
Phillipsburg resident, Rex C. Bretton, passed away Sept. 27, 2107 at his home in Phillipsburg at the age of 63. He was born April 22, 1954 in Smith Center, the son of Mavor & Ethel (Smith) Bretton.
Survivors include his son Richard of Coffeyville, KS; 3 daughters, Kristina Niegisch of Oswego, KS, Angela Bretton and April Bretton of Smith Center; his brother Ralph of McCook, NE; his sister, Luella Snyder of Ness City, KS and 6 grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Oct. 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Lew VanDerWege officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rex Bretton Memorial Fund.
