Norton resident, Rhonda Kaye Daniels, age 58, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS.

She was born October 1, 1956 in Norton, KS the daughter of John Wesley and Pearl Anna (Jurey) Eagleburger. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Rhonda was a member of the Norton Christian Church, where she was baptized September 18, 2012. She enjoyed going camping, fishing, and just spending time out at the lake with family and friends. She also loved dirt track racing where she could go cheer on her brothers, son, nephews, or just some random person. But most of all she loved spending time with her family. Rhonda was big on family reunions, she knew there were not many brothers and sisters left and family meant the world to her. Last of all she really loved spending time with her grandkids; they kept her on her toes a lot of the time.

Survivors include her son, Cory Daniels & wife, Christy of Logan, KS; daughter, Michelle Whittenburg & husband, Benjie of Norton; brothers, Larry Eagleburger of Ottawa, KS and Dennis Eagleburger of Sidney, Iowa; sister, Sherland Bietz of Norton; and 7 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Pearl Anna Eagleburger, 3 sisters, Gail Davis, Glenda Sprague, Robin Eagleburger; and 4 brothers, David Eagleburger, Chuck Eagleburger, Sr., Gailen Eagleburger & Robert Eagleburger.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the Norton Christian Church with Pastor Larry Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery.

Rhonda will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the Norton Christian Church.
