Obituary
Phillipsburg resident, Robert James Lamp, Sr. passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 86. He was born on March 14, 1925 in Manning, IA, the son of Edwin & Mabel (Stuhr) Lamp.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gerry on November 9, 2004.
Survivors include his sons, Rodney of North Platte, NE, Robert Jr. of Phillipsburg & Richard of Colby; his daughter, Rhonda Lamp of Topeka, 7 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Lorna Paulus officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery with military honors by Ft. Riley Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Wed. & 9:00 to 9:00 Thurs. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
