Sallie Jansonius passed away on May 23, 2025, in Belleville, Kansas, at the age of 82.

Sallie Marie Jansonius was born on December 13, 1942, in Kirwin, Kansas, to her parents Leo and Fairie (Plymesser) Gaines.

She was united in marriage to John William Jansonius on June 19, 1991, in Phillipsburg, Kansas.

Sallie is preceded in death by her husband John Jansonius, parents Leo and Fairie Gaines, daughter Kayla Kreller, and son-in-law Jim Kreller.

Survivors include son Kurtis Wolfe of Prairie View, Kansas, brother Alvin Gaines and wife Sheila of Gaylord, Kansas, sisters Idris Shannon of Houston, Texas, Arlis Schield of Sacramento, California, and Connie Martin of Oklahoma, as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Sallie will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Fairview Cemetery, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, with Pastor Art Walker officiating.

Friends and relatives may sign the book on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, in Phillipsburg, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to Meadowlark Hospice, or Phillipsburg Little League Baseball.
