Obituary

Phillipsburg resident, Sandra Jo Clark was born January 11, 1970 in York, Nebraska, the daughter of Norman Clark & Patsy (Corbit) Clark. She passed away on October 4, 2013 in an auto accident with her mother, Patsy Baumgarner & nephew, Brandon Clark.

Sandra graduated from Chadron High School in Chadron, NE with the class of 88', attended the University of Nebraska – Kearney and graduated in 1992 with a degree in Criminal Justice, and later attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln earning her Juris Doctorate.

She was united in marriage to Douglas Main in May 1992 in Kearney, Nebraska. To this union Victoria Marie was born. They made their home in Kearney until the couple divorced in 1996.

Sandra & Victoria lived in several places before moving to Phillipsburg in 2002, where Sandra began working in the trust department at First National Bank. She also worked a short time for the Brooke Corporation in Phillipsburg. In 2008 she was employed by the Department of Corrections in Norton & Stockton until 2011. She then worked at Dollar General in Phillipsburg and assisted Brien Stockman at his law office in Logan. She recently began working with Jill Isernhagen as a Real Estate Attorney for the Phillips County Abstract office. On occasion she also enjoyed helping at the local Horseshoe Bar & Grill.

While working at the bank, she was introduced to customer, Gary Buchner. The couple formed a special friendship and had enjoyed each other's companionship for the past eight years. Sandra enjoyed reading, riding horses, hiking & was a lover of nature, who especially enjoyed escaping to the state of Montana.

Survivors include her daughter, Victoria Main of Lincoln, NE; her father, Norman Clark & wife, Pat and brother, Gary Clark, all of Billings, Montana; sister, Diann Clark of Lincoln, NE; her best friend and companion, Gary Buchner of Phillipsburg; and her nieces.

Sandy was a wonderful mom and loved very much by her family & friends. She will be sadly missed.

There are two memorial service scheduled. The first one will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 3:00 p.m at the Roper & Sons Chapel in Lincoln, Nebraska. The second will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating.

Friends may sign the book on Saturday, Oct. 12, from noon – 9 p.m. at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
