Sean Mitchell Cunningham, 57, of Phillipsburg, KS passed away April 22, 2014.

He was born in Phillipsburg, KS on December 19, 1956 to parents Warner and Mary Margaret (English) Cunningham. He graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1975. In 1981 he married Judi Peterson and from this marriage raised 3 children.

He graduated from North Kansas Area Vo-Tech with a degree in heating, air conditioning, and plumbing. He then founded Cunningham A/C & Heating which he successfully ran for over ten years.

Survivors include his three children; Ryan and wife Jodi of Olathe, KS, Shayla and husband Dwight Alexander of Kansas City, KS, Taya of Phillipsburg, KS, and two granddaughters, Kerrigan and Emsley. He is also survived by nine siblings; Fr. Pat Cunningham of Underwood, ND, Barb Cunningham of San Diego, CA, Jerry Cunningham of Topeka, KS, Peggy Cunningham of Waikoloa, HI, Michaela Garrett of Oakley, KS, Cathy Cunningham of Denver, CO, Bridgid Stephens of Shawnee, KS, Kevin Cunningham of Houston, TX, Colleen Peterson of Anchorage, AK. and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 26, at 10:30 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg with Father Pat Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

A rosary service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

The family wishes in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Taya Cunningham Education Fund.
