Lubbock, Texas resident Stephen Gregory Walters passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at his home at the age of 66.

He was born December 27, 1958, at the Shackelford County Hospital in Albany, TX, the son of the late Raymond and Alberta (Gieber) Walters.  He graduated from Levelland High School.  Stephen then began his lifelong job as a long haul truck driver.

Stephen was preceded in death by his brother Jim Walters and parents Raymond and Alberta.

He is survived by his sister Pat Van Allen and husband Mick of Phillipsburg, KS; a sister-in-law Rose Walters of Farmington, NM; a niece and nephew and their children.

Cremation was chosen.  A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, KS, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025, with Father Andrew Rockers officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Clyde, KS.
