Tamera Lynn Wagner, daughter of Ronald & Bernita (Zerr) Wagoner, was born July 11, 1972 in Topeka, Kansas and passed away March 22, 2011 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas at the age of 38.
She attended school in Great Bend, Kansas, graduating with the high school class of 1991.
On April 29, 1995, Tamera was united in marriage to Rick Wagner in Great Bend. The couple was blessed with two daughters, Megan and Morgan, and a son, Riley.
Tamera's life revolved around her family and her church. She was a faithful member of the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stuttgart, serving as a Sunday school teacher and helping with various other church activities.
In addition to being a busy wife and mother, she was also a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. She thoroughly enjoyed driving the countryside, delivering mail to neighbors and friends.
Being a "Mom" was Tamera's greatest joy; she loved interacting with her children and being involved in their school & sporting events. She was her kids' biggest fan and always "cheered them on" at games and competitions. She also enjoyed playing & coaching softball and supporting the Girl Scouts by attending meetings & helping with fundraisers.
Her children never had a birthday without a "special" cake, which she somehow always found the time to bake. Camping trips were a favorite family getaway, and Tamera loved going to the lake, boating and fishing. She also liked to "jam out" to her favorite rap and hip-hop music and just spend time "hanging" with her friends.
The memories of her courage & strength, her enthusiasm for life, and her loving spirit and caring heart will be cherished by her family and friends forever and her presence and laughter will be greatly missed.
