Thomas Franklin Garwood, son of John H. & Rena (Gallentine) Garwood, was born September 8, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas and passed away December 11, 2011 at his home in Logan, Kansas at the age of 67.

Tom grew up in Oberlin, Kansas with three siblings - Dorothea, Gary and Mary Kay.

Tom attended the Prairie View Reformed Church in Prairie View, Kansas. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing with his son.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Rena, and his brother, Gary.

Tom is survived by two sons: John & wife, Michelle, of Norton, KS and Thomas J. "TJ" & wife, Lynette, of Westminster, CO; four grandsons: Drew Garwood of Westminster, CO and Collyn & Alex Auker and TJ Garwood, all of Norton, KS; four granddaughters: Elizabeth Garwood of Westminster, CO and Sylence & Abbey Auker and Hannah Garwood, all of Norton, KS; and two sisters: Mary Kay Vanover & husband, Roger, of Clayton, KS and Dorothea Jimenez of Grand Junction, CO.
