Timothy Joseph Horn, son of Nick & Shirley (Persinger) Horn, was born March 11, 1982 in Phillipsburg, Kansas and passed away July 18, 2011 in Palco, Kansas at the age of 29.

He graduated from Stockton High School in Stockton, Kansas with the class of 2001.

On June 2, 2007, Tim married Kara Thomsen at the Webster Lake west of Stockton. Their union was blessed with a son, Treyvin Floyd and a daughter, Karleigh Rose.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He also loved the thrill of stock car racing, mudding and competing in demolition derbys.

Even though he had many hobbies, his favorite times were those spent with his children and family.

His brother, Kevin Kester, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Kara; his son, Treyvin Floyd and daughter, Karleigh Rose, both of Stockton, KS; his parents, Nick & Shirley Horn of Hays, KS; his brothers, Dean Kester & wife, Libby, and Nathan Kester, all of Stockton; his sister, Angela Horn of LaCrosse, KS; his great-grandmother, Ina Persinger of Superior, NE; and nieces & nephews: Tierney, Annabelle, Hayleigh, Harley, Sierra, Jasmine, Thomas and Jacalyn.

Cremation was planned. Memorial services will be held Sat., July 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Chuck Horn officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Kirwin Cemetery, Kirwin, KS.

Friends may sign his memory book on Thursday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday from
9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home in Phillipsburg.

Memorial contributions may be given for His Children's Education.
