Obituary
Todd Michael Goscha, son of Jerome & Jeanne (Riedmiller) Goscha, was born June 3, 1965 in Norton, Kansas, and passed away July 10, 2014 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, Kansas at the age of 49.
Known to friends and family by his nickname "Hoop", he graduated from Logan High School with the class of 1983, and lived in the Logan/Phillipsburg area his entire life.
Todd was blessed with four children: two sons, Josh and Tyler, and two daughters, Sarah and Heather. These children then blessed him with ten grandchildren and the expectation of a granddaughter, who has yet to make her arrival.
On November 21, 2008, Todd married Stacey Schlehuber in Phillipsburg, Kansas. With this union Todd welcomed two stepdaughters into his family - Chelsi and Kayla, along with three step-grandchildren to love and spoil.
In addition to the joys of his children, grandchildren, and stepchildren, he held a special place in his heart for his boxer,"Tator."
Todd was a caring husband and father, a loyal friend to many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome & Jeanne Goscha; his stepmother, Ruth Goscha; two brothers, Terrence and Timothy; and a brother-in-law, Eric Kintigh.
Survivors include his wife, Stacey, of the home in Logan; sons, Josh of Phillipsburg, KS and Tyler (Savannah) of Pratt, KS; daughters, Sarah Goscha of Logan, KS; Heather Goscha and Chelsi Schlehuber, both of Phillipsburg, KS; and Kayla Flanigan of Broken Arrow, OK; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Tom, of Hays, KS; and two sisters, Diane Van Diest of Prairie View, KS and Denise Mogg of Mission, KS.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 14, at 10:00 a.m. in the St. John Catholic Church, Logan, with Father Joshua Werth officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.
Cremation was chosen. Friends may sign the book on Sunday, July 13, from noon – 9 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home in Logan.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Logan E.M.S. or the Logan Fire Department.
