Tony Ray Horner, a lifelong resident of Phillips County, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, at the age of 67.

Born on December 21, 1957, in Phillipsburg, Tony was the son of Duane and Monnie (Morgan) Horner. He graduated with the class of '76 from Phillipsburg High School. After completing high school, he embarked on a career with Tamko, where he dedicated 25 years before retiring in 2002. Post-retirement, Tony engaged in various jobs, including working with Joey Baxter on his custom silage crew, participating in construction work alongside his brothers David and Ryan, and assisting with farming for Lynn Ferguson.

In 1978, Tony married Pamela Godbout, and together they had two daughters, Brandi and Abby. After their divorce, Tony met Patty Rockey, whom he married in 1985. From this union, they welcomed a daughter, Mindy, and a son, Cody. This marriage also ended in divorce.

Tony had a passion for camping and fishing, activities that brought him great joy. In his younger years, he found excitement in building derby cars and participating in derbies.
