Troy Michael Blubaugh was born on August 11, 1967, at Phillips County Hospital to Daniel C. Blubaugh and Linda Ann (Krouse) Blubaugh. He went to school here in Phillipsburg until his junior year, when he moved to Everett, Washington, with his Uncle, Jim Blubaugh, and Aunt, Seana Blubaugh. He graduated from Cascade High School in 1985. After graduating, he went on to college and did quite well but decided that it was not for him.

He had started working for Costco about that same time and decided that he would rather work. He took pride in working there, and after several years, he also worked at Olive Garden, which he took great pride in.

Troy was very well read and liked his murder/mystery books, but he enjoyed reading the Bible most of all. He also enjoyed the Bible study groups that he belonged to. When living in Everett, he made some train trips back here (he particularly enjoyed the train trips) to get the opportunity to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Blubaugh as well as Grandma and Grandpa Krouse.

After working at Olive Garden, he used to make some spaghetti sauce that was delicious. Troy was very good with numbers and was a killer player of games that dealt with numbers. Troy walked everywhere and enjoyed the outdoors. He also had a great love for dogs and cats. He always had a smile on his face when telling about going fishing with his Dad. Troy also enjoyed going to the movies with his Mom. He was very excited when we were able to have a family get-together, not only for the food but also for the camaraderie. Troy never knew a stranger, and they all seemed to love him because his heart was as big as he was.

Troy was preceded in death by his Mother, Linda A. (Krouse) Blubaugh, Grandma (Melva) and Grandpa (Joe) Blubaugh, Grandma (Lois) and Grandpa (Lewis) Krouse, Uncle Dennie Krouse.

Troy was survived by his Dad, Daniel C. Blubaugh, several Aunts and Uncles, and several Cousins.
