Logan resident, Viola A. "Dolly" Kemper, passed away Wed., May 29, 2013 at Logan Manor in Logan, KS at the age of 95.

She was born June 4, 1917 in Phillips County, Kansas, the daughter of Henry G. & Margaret (Rebhan) Schuck. Viola was a farm wife and mother.

Survivors include her sons, Michael and Marcus, both of Logan; daughters, Sharon Beckman of Lancaster, CA and Coleen Larson of Scandia, KS; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary service will be held Sunday, June 2, at 6:00 p.m. in the Logan Funeral Home, Logan, with the Scriptural Wake service following at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church, Logan, with Father George Chalbhagam officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.

Visitation will be Sat. from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sun. from noon – 9 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Logan Manor or Logan E.M.S
