Phillipsburg resident, Waltraut Jansonius, passed away at her home on Monday, January 29, 2024.  She was 80.

She was born November 30, 1943 in Nuremberg, Germany the daughter of Greta Omeis.

Waltrout was preceded in death by her mother, and a grandson Maleki Shane "Boo" Jansonius.

Survivors include her son Glenn Jansonius and wife Lara of Phillipsburg; daughter Carol "C.J." McGinnis and husband Mike of San Marcos, CA; and 3 grandchildren.

Cremation was planned.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
