Phillipsburg resident, Warren L. Bennett, passed away Saturday, March 8, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS at the age of 71. He was born July 8, 1942 in Phillips County, the son of Hugh and Neva (Smedley) Bennett. He was a retired bridge foreman for Phillips County.

Survivors include his wife Judy of Phillipsburg; 2 brothers-in-law, Donald Braun of Stockton & LeRoy Braun of Phillipsburg; a sister-in-law, Barbara Zimmerman of Hays & several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the SS Philip & James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, with Fathers George Chalbhagam and Alvin Werth officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

A Rosary & Vigil Service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Tuesday and 9:00 to 9:00 Wednesday at the funeral home.
