Chris Hugunin
Owner & Director
Chris is a 1988 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and received his Mortuary Science degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1990. He began working at Olliff-Boeve in 1999. He is married to Ranelle (Van Kooten) Hugunin, who is a graduate of Northern Valley High School and a lifelong Phillips County resident as well. Through the years, Chris has guided families in funeral planning, services, and after-care support, as well as forming strong relationships by his involvement in countless activities and organizations in the community.

Conlee Hugunin is a licensed funeral director and embalmer serving families with compassion, professionalism, and sincere care. A 2020 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Conlee pursued his calling in funeral service by attending mortuary school at Kansas City Kansas Community College while working at Warren McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, Kansas. He graduated from mortuary school in 2021.
In 2022, Conlee returned to Phillipsburg to serve his home community, completing funeral service apprenticeships in both Kansas and Nebraska. He became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in both states in 2023. Conlee is dedicated to helping families honor their loved ones through meaningful services that reflect each life with dignity and respect.
Conlee married his middle school sweetheart, Evea Hugunin, in 2022, and together they welcomed their daughter, Carter Mae, in 2025. He is a faithful member of Luctor Christian Reformed Church and is actively involved in the community as a proud member of the Phillipsburg Rotary Club and the Long Island Sons of the American Legion. In his free time, Conlee enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Dayton, graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 2024, received his Mortuary Science degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2025, and joined the business after graduating.
